After graduating from the ETH Zurich and working in various architectural offices, Thomas Endres founded his own studio in Baden in the Swiss canton of Aargau in 1994. With a total of ten employees, the main field of activity is individual residential buildings, larger residential developments and conversions of residential houses, practice and commercial premises. Together with its team and under the direction of Steffen Jesberger, the office develops individual and sophisticated buildings in various scales and local building contexts. A precise and clear architectural language and the reduction to the essential, colouring and materialization are in the foreground. The targeted use of daylight and the consistent implementation of a continuity of space from inside to outside are the defining features of all their buidings. In terms of design, the office has specialised in concrete construction methods over the years and is constantly developing these further.
